Human relationships are an intricate & complex web of many emotions. These emotions help us weave the very fabric of a strong household but sometimes they are the cause of much anxiety. Hence, we get entangled in some relationships not finding a way of resolution. On the other hand, Sound relationships not only help us face the many challenges of modern day life, rather they are a source of great comfort and joy. Like a strong web, our relationships need to be resilient and sturdy to be able to bounce back into shape in spite of pressures surrounding us
What does it mean to be a dutiful father, a loving mother, a doting husband, an affectionate wife, a zealous child and a caring sibling? If we knew the meaning of these relationships we would be fearful of doing injustice in them. Stop for a moment and ask yourself do we really know what it takes to personify these roles? Do we know how to balance the give and take in all our relationships? Have we cherished and benefitted from the social values passed on to us through the Quran and the heritage of the Prophets? Are we ready to manage our family matters?
