Make some Honey Lemon & Ginger tea
Feel a bit of a cold or flu coming on?
Try this easy to make Honey Lemon & Ginger Tea!
The heat and the ginger will warm you right up, the steam and the lemon and the ginger helps clear those sinuses, and the ginger and the honey soothes that scratchy throat.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup water
3cm piece ginger root (or more, to taste), peeled and roughly chopped
1/2 whole lemon
1 teaspoon honey, or to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
Pour 1 cup boiling water over the ginger and let it steep for 3 minutes.
Meanwhile, put the lemon juice and the honey in a large mug.
Strain the ginger tea into the mug.
Stir to dissolve the honey, taste, and add more honey or lemon juice if you like
