The IMAM SUYUTI INSTITUTE Presents RAISING CHILDREN IN ISLAM with Shaykh Riyadh Walls
This course outlines the basic Islamic concepts in child education and tries to coordinate the main ideas, as well as the basics precepts for raising Muslim children in all the different spheres of life. Care is to be taken in providing young children with all the necessary elements in the fields of Islamic, ethical, physical and intellectual education.
It is certainly a serious and important responsibility!
It starts in the very early years of life and continues through the stage of discretion and adolescence, until they become fully matured. No doubt that when this task is accomplished, a righteous person will be brought up, hence , a righteous family will be established and will contribute to building up an ideal society. In sha Allah.

TOPICS:
1 – Responsibility for Faith Education – inculcate concepts of faith and Islamic teachings into the child’s soul.
2 – Responsibility for Ethical Education – set of ethical principles and moral values in the child.
3- Responsibility for Physical Education – bringing up the child healthy and sound in body.
4 – Responsibility for Intellectual Education – mental upbringing according to the concepts of Islam and elements of modern scientific knowledge

Course Presenter:
Sheikh Riyadh Walls is a third generation South African. His great grandfather came to South Africa in 1879 with the Scottish highlanders. Sheikh Riyadh embraced Islam in 1991 in Cape Town. From 1995 to 2003 he journeyed in search of Islamic knowledge to many parts of the Muslim world. Some of the places where he spent time where Morocco, Medina, Yemen, Somalia and Syria. His currently Imam of Masjid Al-Jaami in Stegman Rd, Claremont. He also runs the Imam Suyuti Institute and speaks regularly on radio programmes as well as on various platforms locally and internationally.
